FIKE SMALL SPACE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM Because CNC machines often operate unattended, a spark can lead to devastating consequences before the obstructed fire is ever detected. Fike’s Small Space Suppression System protects against CNC machine fires at their source, and without requiring power. This innovative “indirect” system uses a flexible pneumatic tube, which is strategically routed throughout the CNC machine to detect a fire. Clean agent is then discharged from a separate suppression network to quickly eliminate the hazard. Fike also offers a “Direct System” which protects electrical cabinets by using heat-reactive tubing for both detecting the fire and dispensing agent into the protected space.
